The artist has had a varied life from the humble beginnings as a butcher to a long spell as a minister of religion in the Church of Scotland and finally a teacher of world religions and philosophy. Having retired he took up painting encouraged by his family. He was surprised how soon his paintings began to sell. He has tried most mediums and is still moving from one to another. Recently he has began to see that there can be a link between painting and the search for meaning and understanding and he has began to explore this much more in the paintings he is producing. He has now sold a large number of paintings both here and in the USA. He is happy to discuss your personal needs and requirements and loves the challenge of producing a personal work for a personal space.
