Pink Flower

Light seems to filter through the delicate petals of this pink flower on a summer's morning. My work was initially influenced by the artist Georgia O'Keeffe's stunning work. A warming and tranquil subject painted on silk and sealed onto a deep canvas ready to hang.

Field Poppies

Silks are dyed and stitched before a digital image of field poppies in vibrant reds and greens is added. This gives an almost 3D effect to the picture. In a white mount the total picture size is 20.5 x 25.5 cm, ready for framing.
